SPEAKER DEVELOPMENTS

As part of our continued commitment to improving every aspect of our product range, over the past 4 years we have developed a hemp paper cone to replace the conventional paper cone we have used successfully for many years, the hemp cone adds a further layer of low level information to our speakers' already superior subtlety.

The pictures show the HE hemp driver in an Apple veneered cabinet of an AN-E, the blue diaphragm is the natural colour of the hemp pulp I am told.

The hemp cone will be come standard in all AN-E high efficiency versions with immediate effect, so all speakers shipped from today (well actually last week!) will have this new high efficiency driver, it will be followed by the AlNiCo woofer sometime in September. [Update: Available now]

The standard AN-J and AN-E models will continue with the paper cone woofer, so the following models will stay as they are now,

AN-J/LX | AN-J/SPe | AN-E/LX | AN-E/SPe

Hemp woofer will become available at additional cost on these models in October 2006.
